Description
Welcome to Trinity Valley Community College! We are excited that you are interested in visiting our campus, and we look forward to showing you around the Valley! During your campus visit, you will tour our administration building, get familiar with essential offices and resources around campus, and visit main student buildings such as our Learning Resource Center, Student Union Building, Technology Center, Bookstore, Cafeteria, and more! Depending on your interest, Optional tour stops are dorms, the Cardinal Fitness Center, the Cardinal Gym, and Fine Arts Building.
TVCC campus tours are approximately hour-long walking tours. If you require special accommodations for disabilities or other circumstances, don't hesitate to contact the recruiting office before your tour.
Questions & Answers
When you arrive at the TVCC campus, park in the large front parking lot (where the flag poles are located). You will enter the administration building through the sliding glass doors. The recruiting office is to your left. There is a sign near the door that says 'Campus Tours'.
Yes! We encourage your family to come on the tour.
We ask that all tour parties arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled visit. If you know you will be running late for your tour, please call the recruiting office to let them know. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your tour and do not let the recruiting office know that you will still be attending, your tour will be canceled. Often, there is more than one party taking the tour together, so out of respect for all attendees, please arrive on time in order to not delay the tour.
TVCC tour days are Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Special accommodations can be made on a very limited basis. TVCC is closed on weekends, holidays, and Fridays during the summer starting May 20, 2022, and will not be able to accommodate tours during those times. Please call the recruiting office to ask about accommodations.
All athletic recruiting visits are handled by each team's staff. If you would like to meet with a coach to discuss athletic opportunities at TVCC, please visit www.tvccsports.com, or check out our social media for tryout and walk-on opportunities.
You do not need to bring anything with you. If you would like to turn in any paperwork or speak with different departments while you are here for your visit, you are welcome to, but it is not required!
Absolutely! Just let your tour guide know that you will need an absence letter.
Tours will be canceled if there is lightning, heavy rain, tornado watches/warnings, or snow/ice. Tours may still proceed in light to moderate rain, but we strongly encourage them not to. If there is rain in the forecast, we recommend that students bring their own umbrellas. If you are traveling from out of town and the weather is not improving in Athens, we will attempt to contact you with enough time before you arrive to cancel your tour.
